We are looking for the Sr.Electrical Engineer to join their team and support Hawaii operations.

What You'll Do

Lead project teams and manage disciplines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Take responsibility for preparing deliverable documents, including narratives, calculations, drawings, and specifications.Attend client meetings and lead coordination efforts between external and internal project teams.Build and maintain strong client relationships.Independently evaluate and apply engineering judgment, techniques, and procedures to complete projects from concept through construction.Oversee engineering calculations and equipment selection, applying an advanced understanding of building codes and electrical industry standards.Perform site visits and generate reports on findings.Serve as a technical resource within the company.Assemble and manage effective project teams.Inspire and motivate staff to achieve project goals.Develop project workplans, tasks, and assignments for team members.Provide training, guidance, and mentorship for staff.Update master specifications and standards, and continuously improve company processes.Apply engineering principles in distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit, and Arc Flash Energy analysis using Easy Power.Oversee the implementation of the project quality management plan (QMP).May assume the role of Project Manager or Engineer of Record (EOR).

What You Bring

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (specific to discipline work).Minimum 6-10 years of related work experience in the AEC industry.Advanced proficiency in electrical system distribution, lighting, and power system design.Thorough understanding of interdisciplinary coordination.Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering concepts with the ability to effectively communicate design options.Ability to assemble and lead a team effectively.Strong delegation and leadership skills.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with Revit/AutoCAD and Easy Power.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $155000.00/yr.
