Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems and components, with a focus on magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors. This role involves performing detailed calculations, using computer-assisted engineering and design software, and directing various activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Responsibilities + Design and develop electrical systems and components, focusing on magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors. + Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications. + Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks. + Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. + Perform detailed analyses to assess designs' or applications' feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements. + Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. + Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. + Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations to the maintenance crew. Essential Skills + Experience in electrical design from scratch, with all designs custom-made per client. + Prior experience within a manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical. + Mechanical aptitude. + Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards. + Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred. + Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector, focusing on magnetic components. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in other engineering design software. + Experience with manufacturing processes. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr. • Vacation: You will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation after six months of employment.• Sick and Holiday Pay: You will be eligible for sick leave and holiday pay as outlined in the employee handbook.• Company Benefits: You will be eligible for all currently available Company benefits beginning on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
