Essential skills and experience:
A Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program is required and an emphasis in power systems is preferred.PE license highly preferred or ability to earn a PE license is required.10 or more years of experience with power plant design, with a focus on integrated, detailed system design for new plants, or modifications or replacements for existing plants.Proven experience in project management, with a PMP certification preferred.Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish (read, speak, and write).Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.This position in based in San Juan, Puerto Rico and will require occasional travel.Valued but not required skills and experience:
Familiarity with Puerto Rico power generation, and experience working for or with PREPA.Technical knowledge and experience with instrumentation and controls engineering.Construction and start-up experience a plus.
