Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer Multidiscipline to join our Electronic Warfare (EW) team in Goleta, CA. The role includes design, analysis, validation, test, and support of digital, analog, and power conversion circuits for Electronic Warfare & Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) products & subsystems, and as needed leading project teams in these roles. Occasional travel (10-20%) may be required to other Raytheon facilities and customer sites.
What You Will Do:
DC/DC and multiphase to DC, RF power supply circuits, control loop, stability analysisFPGA based design, DDR/other memories, digital to RF conversionWorst case circuit analysis and derating, design obsolescence, failure investigationsScope of work and head count proposals for potential projectsRequirements documents and testing requirementsAs needed team lead and REA (responsible engineer authority)/mentor assignmentsQualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience in Engineering/other technical positionsExperience with FPGA-based digital and mixed signal PCB schematic capture and design analysis using timing analysis methods and signal integrity analysis such as Hyperlynx simulation.Experience with Power conversion design and testing with power system design toolsExperience with SPICE, schematic/layout design software, Matlab, ADS, Hyperlynx PIExperience with schematic capture, block diagrams, and parts lists for complex electronics.Electronic products testing experience using the following: Bench power supplies, signal/waveform generators, high-speed oscilloscopes, power supply stability testers, spectrum analyzers, and debugging toolsThe ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with schematic capture, block diagrams, and parts lists for complex electronics.Electrical design and analysis with Mentor Graphics XPedition and HyperLynx/ Hyperlynx PI, SiMetrix, LTSPICE.Experience with design of CCAs with power conversion integrated circuits including high voltage/high current transformers, inductors, and FETs, as well as ADCs, DACs, and supporting analog circuits.Experience with RF components or specifications and creating POL supplies for RF circuitry.Possess skills to handle fast pace and dynamic product development environment.Strong team player with good interpersonal skills as well as good written/verbal communication skills.What We Offer:

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
