ENERCON's Energy Group is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for an onsite opportunity in Longview, Texas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse and innovative team to evaluate and design power systems at power-generating facilities. This position is offered as temporary assignment or LTLB (Long Term Limited Benefits) for 3 - 6 months + in the Longview, TX area.

Responsibilities

As a key member of the team, your day will involve collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of designs and data. You'll manage project budgets, schedules, and quality, while providing technical oversight and driving design innovation. You'll oversee procurement processes and solve complex technical challenges to keep projects on track. Your role will be dynamic, balancing coordination, problem-solving, and leadership across multiple aspects of projects.

 

Collaboration with Other Disciplines: Understand and coordinate with other engineering disciplines, ensuring seamless integration of designs, drawings, and data across teamsDesign and Technical Oversight: Participate in design reviews, prepare design studies, and ensure technical work meets quality standards while overseeing routine and advanced tasks performed by othersProject Management: Manage project budgets, scope, schedules, and quality with minimal guidance, ensuring projects stay on track and meet objectivesProcurement and Equipment Selection: Prepare specifications for electrical equipment procurement and installation, evaluate bids, and select appropriate equipmentProblem Solving and Innovation: Devise innovative solutions to technical challenges based on broad industry knowledge and experience Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and Minimum 7 years of power system design experienceExperience in electrical codes, standards, and criteria for power systems preferably onsite experienceFamiliarity with working with clientsComfortable working in a fast paced environmentProficient in Word and ExcelGood writing, presentation, and communication skillsAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
