Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Electrical Engineer to expand our Solar, Electrical practice in Boca Delray, Florida!

Responsibilities Lead the design and analysis of complex electrical systems for solar, renewable generation, energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and various other projectsResponsible for the review and development of design documents and reports, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics and block diagrams, electrical system calculations, and one-line diagramsDaily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams, with interaction across Kimley-Horn officesPrepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals, supporting the growth of electrical engineering service areas in the lcoal market and across the countryLeadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principalsProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and team Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience working on Electrical projectsRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred

Firm understanding of the National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, IEEE and ANSI Standards

Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization

Ability to manage and mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner

Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
