Your Role
As a Senior Electrical Manufacturing/Test Engineer, you will lead efforts to design and optimize manufacturing processes for our IoT products. This strategic role combines technical expertise, leadership, and a vision for scaling manufacturing operations. You will oversee the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of test systems while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities Strategic Manufacturing Leadership: Drive the development and implementation of scalable manufacturing and test processes aligned with business goals. Advanced Test System Design: Lead the specification, programming, and deployment of advanced automated test equipment for production lines. Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize advanced data science techniques to analyze production data, identify trends, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality. Supplier and Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring alignment on manufacturing strategies, product quality, and cost optimization. Mentorship and Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers and foster collaboration between engineering, quality, and operations teams to achieve production KPIs. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, test development, or related roles. Proven expertise in functional testing of complex electrical/electromechanical systems. Advanced knowledge of wireless communication protocols, including RF and Bluetooth (BLE). Mastery of electrical test equipment and automated test systems. Experience with enterprise-level PLM systems for global document control. Advanced proficiency in database design, administration, and querying (MongoDB, NoSQL, MySQL, etc.). Familiarity with firmware development and debugging. Preferred Qualifications Expertise in smart manufacturing and IoT integration within digital factories. Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage external partners. Certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP. Advanced statistical analysis and process control experience.
Pay Range: $135,000 - $170,000
*Base salary only. Salary is dependent on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience and location.
