Summary: Seeking a Senior Electro-Explosive Device Engineer to provide technical guidance on the design, development, and manufacture of electro-explosive devices.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
7+ years of defense aerospace industry experience
7+ years in design, manufacturing, and project engineering of EEDs
Permanent resident of the United States (ITAR restrictions)
Eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of EED fundamentals including bridgewire material selection and welding, glass-to-metal seal design, energetic material selection and loading
Knowledge of Space and Missile Initiator requirements (AIAA S-113, MIL-DTL-23659)
Job Responsibilities:
Provide expert technical guidance on EED projects
Drive new product qualification programs
Support supply chain initiatives for vendor onboarding
Develop core competency for special processes within the EED value stream
Analyze data and implement process control techniques
Support capital equipment initiatives
Generate drawings with knowledge of dimensional tolerances and GD&T best practices
Produce technical documentation such as manufacturing procedures and test reports
Manage Bills of Materials (BOM) for production procurements
Provide technical expertise for proposal efforts
Lead internal and customer-driven technical meetings
Assist with failure analysis investigations
Pay Details: $160,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year
