As a Senior Electromechanical Engineer, you will be responsible to lead the design, development, and implementation of electromechanical systems engineering solutions. You will drive collaboration with cross-functional teams, leverage technical strategy and best practices, and lead the successful execution of projects. In this role, you will further develop technical subject-matter expertise while contributing significantly to MFT’s growth and innovation.
What You’ll Do
Actively lead and / or participate in project teams focused on New Product Development, Continuous Product Improvement, or Feature Innovation.
Lead or support project plan development including scope, schedule, and resource allocation in support of enterprise priority goals and objectives.
Lead or participate in the development, testing, validation, and application electromechanical systems, including motors, sensors, and control systems for MFTA products, using applicable Electromechanical theoretical and empirical techniques.
Lead problem solving activities using 8D methodology to identify root cause of issues and oversee development/implementation of a corrective action plan.
Utilize mathematical and computer-based engineering analyses to design innovative and reliable solutions for Electromechanical systems, structures, products, or processes.
Develop technical drawings, models, and specifications using engineering software and tools.
Conduct testing, collect and analyze data, and interpret test results to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of electrical and mechanical systems and circuit design.
Identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose and implement design modifications of existing product lines.
Collaborate with Mechanical, Hardware, and Software engineers to develop integrated solutions and troubleshoot issues.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and advancements in Electromechanical Engineering
Actively participate in continuous learning and professional development activities, including attending training programs, workshops, and conferences.

Skills/Experience We’re Looking For
Strong knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and concepts as they relate to theoretical and empirical application of Electromechanical systems and concepts.
Leader in successful development of Electromechanical systems application as part of a residential or commercial appliance and valves.
Proficiency in SolidWorks software or other engineering tools and applications
Knowledge of 8D or DMAIC problem solving principles and application.
Knowledge of design for manufacturing, automation, assembly, and serviceability.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master's in Electromechanical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
7+ years of relevant experience in an engineering role
