Description: Self-motivated, creative Sr. Embedded System Firmware Engineer with strong leadership and communication skills to join a team of dedicated and talented engineers at the Cary, NC, Innovation Center to develop and continuously improve intelligent sensor commercial water control products. This individual will be responsible for developing and improving firmware of mechatronic designs with embedded microcontrollers, physical sensors, motors, solenoids, and data communication of smart, robust and most reliable commercial sensor flush valves and faucets. Additional Skills & Qualifications: + Products within the battery space, power management, optimizing their power consumption and flush valves and faucet, combined their platform, architecture that was implemented for low power but not fully implemented yet, working with FW engineers to fully integrate circuitry, motor drives, + 2 projects coming up that will be integrating with their IoT platform, tweak the code, making sure the product doesn’t lock up and malfunction, learning what was done in the past and figuring out how to take it forward. + NPD projects that combines different platforms in the next 5 years. + Low power, 6 alkaline, just power experience in general would be ideal. + They are working with micro bit MSP430 STM - evaluating additional- they must have worked at that level + Capacitor and resistor + Do not need the UL experience and the harsh equipment stuff. + Been in discussions for DFM, DFT, just need to understand it. Experience Level: Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $140000.00/yr. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Cary,NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $140000.00/yr. o Bonuses: 5% base, with potential for 10-15% if management incentives are met.o Vacation: 3 weeks, 9 holidays, 3 floating holidays, and 20 hours of volunteering time.
