If you bring passion and dedication to your job, there’s no telling what you can accomplish at Apple.DescriptionDescriptionAs a Senior Manager, you will lead other EMC managers and provide guidance on designing and validating solutions that guarantee high quality EMC performance for Apple products. You will address technical challenges and manage team dynamics that impact the team's performance, removing obstacles for team members by applying your strong interpersonal and managerial skills. You will also develop strategies for long-term improvements, including employee development and career growth opportunities for team members. Responsibilities include: - Lead other managers responsible for EMC design and compliance of multiple lines of business - Provide direction to team members on issues ranging from clarifying compliance requirements and ensuring ecosystem coverage to making design improvements, while balancing costs and risks - Provide technical guidance throughout product development, including design reviews, test plan development and execution, troubleshooting failures, and identifying solutions with minimal impact on other teams - Review and analyze data from multiple designs, present findings to cross-functional partners and management, and provide well-informed recommendations - Represent EMC team in key executive reviews by providing clear, data-backed risk assessments, presenting failures, and sharing key findings, including root causes and solutions - Support direct reports with people management responsibilities, provide guidance on policies and procedures, and assist with performance management - Collaborate with others both within the immediate team and across the broader organization on process improvements and initiatives to drive meaningful changes Minimum QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 15+ years of industry experience10+ years of leadership and management experience in one or more of the following fields: EMC, ESD, RF/Antenna, Signal Integrity and Power IntegrityKey QualificationsKey QualificationsPreferred QualificationsPreferred QualificationsMasters or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in electromagnetic fields and/or applications5+ years of management experience at senior or intermediate levels, leading multiple functions and teamsIn-depth knowledge of worldwide EMC regulations, standards, and test methods as well as product certification processesFamiliarity with CAD/PCB design tools as well as electromagnetic modeling and simulation tools/techniquesFamiliarity with RF/EMC measurement equipment and test automation and data analysis techniquesDemonstrated experience with analyzing complex EMI/ESD failures in electronic products and subsystemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to make data-driven decisions to follow the best course of actionAbility to build effective working relationships with other teams and cross-functional partnersProficiency in extracting complex data from multiple sources and presenting it in a concise and understandable formatProven expertise in coaching others, imparting skills to enhance communication and organizational abilitiesEducation & ExperienceEducation & ExperienceAdditional RequirementsAdditional RequirementsPay & BenefitsPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $252,400 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
