Hourly Rate: $24-$28
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Provide leadership and supervision to Employment Services staff to ensure quality supports and services are provided to the people we serve in accordance with our agency Mission. Will assist with the management of program caseloads. Responsible assist with the program intakes vocational assessments and job placement assistance. Will monitor documentation in Therap and ensure proper documentation and waiver compliance for each individual.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide direction and support to Supported Employment staff as assigned. Provide supervision to Supported Employment staff and their caseloads. Coordinate/provide services when primary Employment Specialist is not available. Assist in intake and outreach for Employment programs to include developing and maintaining relationships with area schools and businesses. Link participant/Employment Specialist to needed community services and supports. Monitor job development, intensive, extended services and case files/Therap to ensure waiver compliance and proper documentation are in place for each consumer. Assist in placement of consumers along with job coaching responsibilities as needed. Responsible for ensuring that all confidential and potentially sensitive information is processed, maintained and utilized according to procedures in a strict, confidential manner. Maintains a flexible schedule which may include evenings, nights and/or weekends. Complies with all agency policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Valid NYS Driver’s License that meets agency requirements. Ability to transport individuals in personal vehicle that meets agency requirements. Ability to meet physical requirements of the position when performing the following: standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling and climbing. Lifting requirement of 50 lbs. Ability to lift and transfer individuals manually and mechanically as required by prescribed program/plan. Ability to work days, evenings, overnights and weekends.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the supervision and development of supported employment staff.
