It leads a team managing end-to-end planning, with direct or matrixed reporting, and is responsible for setting and achieving brand-level KPIs while driving continuous improvement and financial optimization. The position ensures compliance with Takeda’s global standards, including process and system adherence and master data completeness. With a broad scope, it leads a team and manages a complex supply chain for multiple brands and significant revenue. **Accountabilities** + Manage supply planning for designated brands, ensuring uninterrupted patient supply. + Oversee the 3 key assets that drive over 30% of Takeda's revenue, ensuring seamless operations, strategic efficiency, and impactful business outcomes. + Lead and develop a team managing end-to-end supply chain planning. + Set and achieve brand-level KPI targets, driving continuous improvement and financial optimization. + Ensure compliance with Takeda’s global standards, including process, system adherence, and master data completeness. + Manage lifecycle activities such as long-term supply planning, launch management, and geographic expansion. + Lead and participate in projects within and beyond direct responsibilities. + Represent the supply chain in cross-functional teams, acting as the link to manufacturing, finance, quality, regulatory, and other key stakeholders. + Oversee supply assessments for changes requiring regulatory filings. + Supervise post-launch legal flow changes unless managed by designated project groups. + Navigate a highly complex supply chain, balancing operational efficiency with strategic growth initiatives. **What you bring to Takeda:** + Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus. + At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role in a complex environment. + Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or related fields, managing multi-product, multi-echelon batch production planning. + Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly advantageous. + Exposure with SAP/APO planning, with a strong preference for IBP expertise. + Proficiency in supply chain and advanced planning systems, including ERP platforms such as SAP, C3ME, or similar. + Proven ability to define and implement digital strategies across the supply chain value chain. + Strong background in Lean processes and methodologies. + Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, inspire, and align cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization. + Commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture. + Resilience and agility to navigate ambiguity, adapt to change, and drive solutions in complex environments. **More about us:** At Takeda, we are transforming patient care through the development of novel specialty pharmaceuticals and best in class patient support programs.
