Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual… 

To join our team as an Energy Efficiency Advisor to help deliver a residential energy affordability program in British Columbia.  We are a close-knit team who are passionate about energy reduction and enjoy working with each other and the public. As an Energy Efficiency Advisor, you will be working with residents to understand their needs and help them find the energy reduction strategy that works best for them.

Successful candidates will be based in (Victoria, Lower Mainland, or Kelowna)


For this exciting career opportunity, you’re a great fit if you can…

Evaluate residential homes to recommend free energy-saving upgrades including new fridges, attic insulation, heat pumps, and high-efficiency gas furnaces following program guidelines

Advise participants on energy-saving tips

Install energy-saving products (lightbulbs, aerators)

Company vehicle provided - will be required to provide a driver's abstract during background check

Program requirements: Overnight and seasonal travel throughout British Columbia as required with flexible options provided. Daily per diem provided.

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

3 years of energy evaluations for homes and installing energy saving kits

High School graduate

Valid driver's license

Familiar with energy conservation programs

Customer Service experience preferred

Building science and home inspection experience is an asset

Construction/Building envelope courses an asset

HVAC experience and F280 knowledge is an asset
