Senior Energy Engineer, Centralized Engineering
Location: Remote (Remote – Home Office with potential for quarterly travel)

The Senior Engineer for Engineering Services will be a seasoned professional with recognized subject matter expertise, wide-ranging experience, and the ability to use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve issues in creative and effective ways. This individual will be a critical member of the team, utilizing a unique combination of interpersonal and analytical skills to achieve success.
While much of the role is collaborative, the Senior Engineer will work independently, exercising significant latitude in determining objectives of assignments and methods for new tasks. Through interactions with clients, vendors, and management, the Senior Engineer will influence and provide thought leadership in areas of expertise. They will lead prioritized Centralized Engineering initiatives from development through completion, ensuring documented results.

Provide expert technical assistance and support for utility programs, aiding in the creation, upkeep, and implementation of custom review processes and best practices. Provide QC oversight for ICF and subcontractor custom application reviews and virtual or on-site inspections. Supervise the creation, review, and version management of measure-specific calculators in the internal engineering tools database. Function as subject matter expert for custom programs. Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to junior engineering staff. Develop measure builds for program planning and BD efforts Provide technical guidance and support to program teams related to subject matter expertise (e.g. engineering/technology oversight, customer segment, program policies) Support business development as needed, with a focus on Commercial and Industrial objectives.What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
MS in Engineering, (architectural, mechanical, electrical, or chemical preferred) or BS in Engineering, (architectural, mechanical, electrical, or chemical preferred)Professional Engineer License 8+ years of applicable professional experience 5+ years of experience with at least one of the following energy modeling tools: TRACE 700, TRACE 3D+, eQuest, Carrier HAP, or EnergyPlusWhat we would like you to have:
Certifications – PE, CMVP, CEM preferred Experience with standard EM&V protocols (IPMVP) and energy savings calculation methodologies such as bin hour calculations, whole building energy modeling and chiller/boiler plant load modeling. Subject matter expertise in at least two of the following areas: HVAC, building automation systems, energy management systems, industrial refrigeration, boiler systems, compressed air, pumping and fan systems, and other energy efficiency measures. Experience with analyzing utility interval data (AMR data) and regression modeling preferred Demonstrated field experience in independently conducting ASHRAE Level II energy audits and verification incentive programs Managerial experience and ability to nurture and develop junior engineers Provide insight and recommendations for program changes based on existing market knowledge and program trendsProfessional Skills:

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$102,285.00 - $173,884.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
