As a part of Consilio’s Application Services team the Application Support Engineer will support key eDiscovery systems including Relativity, Nuix, Brainspace, LAW, and a growing list of internal applications. The Application Support Engineer will be part of a global team of engineers working both independently and collaboratively to maintain and troubleshoot Consilio’s systems. This position will work closely with Data Operations, Project Management, Database Administration, and IT Infrastructure teams on diverse and challenging issues.
Responsibilities Ensure uptime, scalability, and performance of common eDiscovery applications like Relativity and Nuix, plus custom apps/workflows built on top of these platformsProvide timely responses and resolutions to requesters within defined departmental SLAsAssist with monthly application testing outside of normal work hoursPerform data disposition using defined workflows to help clients remediate riskCreate and maintain a catalog of documentation in both written and video formatsLearn functionality and troubleshooting methods for newly developed solutionsDevelop and utilize your knowledge of T-SQL, PowerShell, etc. to troubleshoot existing issues and create custom solutions to unique problemsDevelop your familiarity and knowledge with Consilio systems through daily collaboration with a global team of support engineers and IT Infrastructure team membersHelp identify and analyze trends and create reports for management teamServe as an escalation point for our front-line IT Support teamProvide 24x7 support for critical production systemsAssist developers with query tuning and schema refinementWorks closely with Human Resources, Recruiters, and Leadership regarding all team personnel matters, including hiring, termination of employment, and/or discipline of team members.Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members on a regular basis QualificationsMinimum Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or another relevant field preferredMinimum Experience Requirements:
5+ years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)5+ years of experience with backups, restores and recovery models5+ years of Relativity experience, either in a front-end role (e.g. Data Processing, Hosting, Project Management) or back-end/infrastructure roleProficient knowledge of MS SQL Server and basic T-SQL commands5+ years’ experience working in a ticketing system or other defined ticketing workflow5+ years working in a Windows environmentWorking knowledge of the EDRMOther Requirements:
Relativity Certifications, specifically Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) and Relativity Infrastructure SpecialistMS SQL Server certifications and/or experience writing advanced T-SQL queriesBrainspace Certifications and/or experience working in/administering a Linux environmentExperience working with/supporting other eDiscovery applicationsPowershell with t-SQL a plusMUST be based in either of these countries: Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, France or the UK
