OnsiteWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill an opening as a Senior Quality Engineer in our Avionics Supplier Quality organization. Candidates should possess experience in Mechanical or Electrical Products, Special Processes, Supplier Management, Root Cause and Corrective Action, Continuous Improvement, Data Analysis, Specification Review, and Project Management including team facilitation. Candidates must have excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills and an overall strong quality focus. They must be able to Lead, Facilitate, and participate within cross-functional teams to meet and improve upon established quality and delivery goals.
What You Will Do:
Manage Supplier performance by analyzing performance data and identifying opportunities for improvement.Champion continuous improvement initiatives, especially Supply Chain enhancements.Lead cross-functional teams in pursuit of performance improvements aligned to department and organizational goals, leadership advocate, and partner.Preventing/Minimizing business impact from supplied material defects; supplier quality risk mitigation.Onsite supplier engagements, including performance reviews and process improvements.Certified Auditor able to facilitate/lead Supplier Quality Management System and Quality Flow-down Audits.Develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.Provide project management guidance and support to projects and processes.Exercise independent judgment methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Be an active member of different technology teams representing the Supply Chain Quality organization.Drive supplied material performance organizational strategies, development/enhancement of Supplier Quality standard work, and Customer communications.Up to 75% domestic and global travel may be required.Qualifications You Must Have:
Experience with AS9100, ISO9000, or similar, Quality Management System (QMS) standardsExperience in conducting root cause analysis and corrective action.Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62.Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with continuous improvement, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, 9S, etc.Bachelor’s degree in science or another related field in STEM.Expertise in manufacturing Special Processes & related industry organizations (Nadcap).Strong background in Supply Chain Performance Management.Project Management and Change Management experience.Strong interpersonal skills - able to influence others at all levels within an organization.Strong presentation skills - able to analyze and present data to all levels of leadership.Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Supply Chain or Supplier Quality type roles.SAP or similar ERP system experience.What We Offer:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
