What You Will Do:

Develop, execute, and complete integrity plans for Enhanced DIMP assets.

Integrity Plans provide safe, environmentally responsible, and reliable fitness for service assessment that is in compliance with the requirements of applicable codes, standards and regulations (CSA Z662 and O.Reg 210/01 and as prescribed by the provincial and federal regulatory authorities (Ontario Energy Board and Technical Standards and Safety Authority) in Canada.

Manage pipeline inspection projects as assigned.

Perform integrity assessments based on the available data.

Ensure all Enhanced DIMP hazards are effectively identified, investigated, assessed, and prioritized for mitigation.

Assess the Enhanced DIMP assets hazards to develop an understanding of the asset condition, fitness for services, and risks associated with the operation of the assets. This requires an understanding of operating practices, design requirements, manufacturing practices, integrity inspections, anomaly assessments, cost analysis, process safety, fluid mechanics, metallurgy, welding, and corrosion.

Develop Enhanced DIMP documentation following the company’s internal processes and practices.

Continuously improve the Enhanced DIMP program based on management reviews, effectiveness reviews, external independent validation observations, or Internal assessment findings. Update the program and associated documentation accordingly.

Support the development and review of the inputs to the Risk Model related to Enhanced DIMP Assets, analyze the Risk Model results, and work together with partners to issue recommendations for the integrity program risk plans.

Work collaboratively with stakeholders for the creation and completion of integrity program risk mitigation scenarios and strategies related to Enhanced DIMP assets, as needed.

Mentor junior team members and review their work.

Who You Are:

You have the following education and experience:

Engineering degree and registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or a Canadian jurisdiction.

Minimum of six (6) years of experience in pipeline engineering, pipeline integrity, gas transmission or distribution operations.

Experience and understanding of pipeline design, construction practices, field operations, integrity assessments, destructive and non-destructive inspection methods for natural gas pipelines.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Working Conditions:

Work covers all Enbridge Gas-Ontario Enhanced DIMP assets and will include travel and fieldwork. 10 - 15% traveling is needed.

Responsible driving record is required for this role.
