Provide Design and Construction Project Support, Leadership, and ExpertiseLead the Micron Global, Regional, and Site Design and Construction project teams in the Engineering and Design development for the U.S. Greenfield FAB Design and Construction projects for your FieldCoordinate planning, execution, and completion of U.S. Greenfield FAB Design and Construction projectsWork closely with the entire Project and Collaborator team including Global and Regional Facilities, Site Facilities, Construction, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, IT, Layout and Planning, and other internal and external collaborator teamsDevelop the Mechanical system design concepts and design execution to be incorporated into the U.S. Design and Construction ProjectsEstablish and maintain outstanding Engineering and Construction practices, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and SustainabilityCoordinate Mechanical system reviews of related issues with the other Subject areas and fields, ensuring high quality Design and Construction executionDevelop, review, and provide feedback / support of the Micron Global Design and Construction Standards and Construction Specifications with emphasis on your respective systemsEnsure appropriate communication with local Facilities, Design, Construction, Procurement, and Manufacturing collaborators to achieve project objectives and deliverablesPerform timely review of design packages and provide detailed comments and feedback as necessaryProvide support for cost and schedule estimates and justification for approvalProvide supervision and coordination of Consultant resources requiredEnsure that scope meets customer and requestor needsEnsure change management procedures are strictly followedMonitor progress and provide Engineering and Design support during construction as required per project if necessaryEnsure designs align with all applicable standards, codes, and regulationsReview capacity planning databases and system operating trends across the network, validating utilization and diversity factor assumptionsParticipate and/or lead capacity and scenario planning across the network, including evaluation of system and distribution capacity impacts based on scenario changesReview and advise on scope, schedule, and cost estimates for Facilities infrastructure additions or modificationsProvide Technical Support, Leadership, and ExpertiseProvide consultation and support to Global, Regional, and Site Facilities and Manufacturing teams as the Technical Field AuthorityWork closely with internal collaborators and customers such as the Technology Development Team, Procurement, Finance, Legal, etc.Support the development, review, and maintenance of the Micron Global system, equipment, and component Standards, Specifications, and Best Known Methods (BKMs)Review and ensure Standardization and Alignment across the Micron Global Network and Sites for Engineering and Design concepts, Construction Project execution, Reliability Programs deployment, and Operations and Maintenance practicesAnalyze system designs to identify improvements that will result in better performance, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savingsSupport sites with problem analysis using standard tools and methodologies as requestedBenchmark within and external to Micron sites on Engineering Best Practices and Best Known Methods (BKM) of Facilities buildings and systemsStay updated on groundbreaking technical knowledge in your subject area, including Industry Trends and Technological advances, emerging technology roadmap, Design Innovations, Sustainability, etc.Provide Global Initiatives Program Support, Leadership, and ExpertiseSupport the development, review, and maintenance of Micron Global Best Known Methods (BKM) documents with emphasis on Operations and Maintenance Reliability and/or PerformanceSupport the other Global Facilities Teams on the Global Programs & Initiatives, including establishing and defining the program objectives, roadmaps, and high-level implementation planSupport the other Global Facilities Teams on the Global Sustainability Programs including for Emissions, Energy, Water, Wastewater, and Green Infrastructure Design Pillars in support of Micron’s Corporate Sustainability programProvide Lessons Learned and feedback to the other Micron Global, Regional, and Site teams to support efforts to incorporate into the Micron Global Standards and BKMsJob RequirementsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering requiredMinimum 7 to 10-years experience in Semiconductor and/or Facilities related industryTechnical expertise, knowledge, and experience on Facilities and Semiconductor Mechanical and Process Systems including Cleanroom HVAC, Chilled Water, Heating Water, Makeup Air, Recirculation Air, Process Cooling Water, Process Exhaust, Compressed Air, Process Vacuum, General HVAC, etc.Ability to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrentlyGood organizational skills and Service attitudeExcellent communication skills and good team working skills, English RequiredSelf-motivated workerFamiliarity with
