Senior Engineer, Mechanical Engineering

Are you a Mechanical Engineer interested in aspects related to vision and movement? Do you have a general scope of mechatronic systems? Then you might be the senior mechanical engineer we are looking for to join our dynamic team.

As an experienced Mechanical Engineer, you bring your expertise in GD&T and precision mechanical designs. You possess experience working in a high-tech environment (preferably in the semiconductor industry). You demonstrate experience working in a multidisciplinary environment and have good stakeholder management and communication skills. 

 

Design / improve design of our machine’s stationary, motion and/or vision modules.  Do hand calculations, carry out FEM analysis whenever required. Conduct and have alignment with colleagues and other stakeholders about technical details and improvements. Conduct technical reviews with stake holders. Create trade off matrixes whenever necessary. Create TPDs and write down mechanical specifications. Create / update FMEAs Monitor our design partners during design process. Make sure KnS WoW is followed. 

For someone with a generic view, creative mindset, and keen eye during reviews.

Bachelor’s degree in a Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics. (Master’s is highly preferred) At least 8 years’ relevant work experience as Mechanical Designer. Familiar with construction principles.  Experienced in precision mechanical designs.  Hands on experience with GD&T. 

The Team

The Mechanical department is a part of the R&D environment. The team of 12 members consists of Mechanical Engineers, Lead Engineers, and architects. You remain involved in the final product and are able to see your own designs due to our in-house assembly, prototyping and testing facility.
