Senior Engineer - .NET
**Job Description:** **Senior Engineer - .NET – Building Materials Manufacturing Corporation; Parsippany, New Jersey.** Job duties include the following: Designing, implementing, documenting, testing and analyzing web and mobile programs and applications; Serving as part of a scrum team with the ability to analyze backlogs and turn them into actionable stories and tasks; Performing expert-level web and mobile application design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance with minimal direction; Enabling the test-driven development of web and mobile applications producing an extensive automated unit, integration and UI tests for web and mobile applications to ensure they will produce desired outcomes; Guiding and directing the work of other team members who may perform similar or related work; Facilitating the development of cross-functional skills among team members; Serving as a mentor/developmental advisor and/or training resource while working with implementation partners; Researching new technologies and best practices; and advising and recommending changes in existing IT policies, procedures and strategy; and Implementing development best practices and methodologies (including agile). Must have a Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or related field plus five (5) years of relevant experience. Experience must include: 5 years of experience in selecting, defining or designing Web and mobile architecture solutions; 5 years of experience in systems analysis and emergent design with a proven record of successful implementations; 5 years of experience with .Net (v3 and newer), Azure Cloud and C#; 5 years of experience with Sitecore CMS; and 5 years of experience developing microservices to integrate various technologies listed above.
