ENERCON's Advanced Nuclear Division is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer / Senior Technical Specialist to join the ENERCON team at various office / site locations across the U.S. This role would support unique and exciting work in the advanced / new nuclear market including advanced and small modular reactor (SMR) technology development, plant siting, and licensing.

Responsibilities nderstand roles played by other disciplines on the project and is able to coordinate and interface with other engineering disciplines.Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data prepared by other engineers or subcontractors..Prepares technical studies, specifications, or evaluations in areas of expertise.Formulate/develop detailed project reports.Manages budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with the designated work assignment with minimal guidance and technical oversight.Understand project schedules and project management plans to ensure project requirements are met.Foster and maintain working relations with assigned clients and act as a single point of contact for assigned projects. Qualifications Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc. in a nuclear energy facility.Minimum of 7 years' experience in the nuclear industry.Bachelor's degree -OR- industry recognized certification and 11 years' applicable experience.Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites.Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks.
