Technical Operations/Maintenance

Our Technical Operations team oversees maintaining and overhauling our aircraft. From skilled aircraft maintenance technicians to meticulous engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, and supply chain experts, we form a diverse team dedicated to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer - Cabin Systems, you will be critical in supporting and maintaining various aircraft systems, from Wi-Fi to In-Flight Entertainment. Youll focus on analyzing, solving, and optimizing designs, maintenance procedures, and performance. Your contributions will ensure our fleets continued safe, legal, and efficient operation. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal and external teams, lead projects, and provide solutions to enhance operational reliability. This position offers a dynamic role with the opportunity to lead projects, manage cost/benefit analyses, and support regulatory compliance.

Analyze and resolve aircraft and components design, operation, maintenance, performance, and modification issues.Apply structured problem-solving methods to address technical challenges.Develop and manage maintenance programs, configuration standards, and serviceability criteria.Review and implement regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and evaluating the impact on reliability and performance.Conduct cost/benefit analyses to inform fleet decisions, balancing costs, asset utilization, and performance.Lead engineering projects, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.Provide technical support for line and base operations, collaborating with internal and external partners.Coordinate with operational teams to maintain airworthiness, safety, and efficiency.Manage project-related tasks, maintenance program updates, and technical specifications.

Location: This position is based at CSC-Willis Tower in Chicago, IL. It has a hybrid work schedule requiring three days in the office, which is subject to change based on company needs.

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experience. 5-8 years of engineering experience (Senior Engineer I) or 8 years (Senior Engineer II). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret complex engineering and OEM documents.Proven experience managing detailed projects and ensuring regulatory compliance.In-depth knowledge of airline operations, regulations (CFRs), and airworthiness standards.Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.In-depth understanding of airline operations, regulations (CFRs), and airworthiness design standards.Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable and punctual attendance is essential.

Experience with aircraft cabin communications, cabin lighting, In-Flight Entertainment, and onboard wireless communications (ATA 23, 33, 44).Knowledge of FARS (particularly 145, 25, and 121).Expertise in specifying, installing, and managing cabin electrical equipment.Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Maintenance experience with Boeing or Airbus aircraft.Relevant certifications (e.g., Boeing/Airbus Structures I, Airframe/Powerplant License).
