Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Perform semiconductor engineering research, design, development, and/or testing for firm products and/or devices for use in the electronic communication industry. Creating, analyzing, debugging and improving smartphone GPU power and performance using Hardware emulation. Responsibilities include hardware emulation development, testbench development debug and deployment, lead Hardware emulation vendors for emulation feature enabling and debug, develop Hardware emulation based solution to execute GPU workload with full Software stacks under pre-silicon environment, work with IT team to develop Hardware emulation automation flow for emulation users, collaborate with GPU architecture and software teams to perform GPU workload analysis, develop and participate in enhancement of existing performance analysis tools, GPU test case development and debug, debug and analysis of GPU tests on emulator and Si to speedup post-Si debug process.

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field, plus one (1) year of experience in a related occupation performing each of the following: Hardware emulation testbench development and debug, RTL waveform debug; utilizing programming such as C, C++ and Python for automation.

Skills and Qualifications

In-Person Collaboration

Our hybrid work policy requires three (3) days of in-office collaboration and two (2) days of flexible remote work (within the U.S.) per week. You must be able to meet this requirement. Adherence to the work hybrid schedule allows all team members to collaborate and innovate more effectively.

Total Rewards

At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $130,000 - $186,000. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. This is an exempt position, which is not eligible for overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.
