Job Summary

The Senior engineer / Assistant Manager will be responsible to lead the Engineering LAB - for ensuring testing of key functionality and safety, compliance with technical standards (internal/external) and providing improvement proposals.
Work in the Laboratory team, within the process of NPD (New Product Development) by working within a cross functional team in order to find new technologies, technical solutions or functionalities applicable in daily life appliances.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Conducting tests: Performing advanced laboratory tests and procedures to ensure accurate and timely results Managing experiments: Overseeing experiments and ensuring high standards in research quality Analyzing data: Analyzing data and communicating results and conclusions clearly Maintaining equipment: Ensuring equipment is maintained and complying with safety protocols Overseeing lab operations: Overseeing the daily operations of the lab and ensuring the facilities run efficiently Planning and monitoring: Planning, monitoring, and controlling work to meet deadlines Maintaining inventory: Supervising and overseeing lab supply inventory Improving procedures: Providing input for improving existing laboratory procedures Maintaining data: Maintaining the data associated with all sample submissions and laboratory procedures
Validate specifications and ensure testing as required on:
Thermal and electrical safety according to internal/ external standards Energy consumption Noise Feature performance Environmental impact Components/ product reliability/ Lifetime Component performance Materials (e.g., surface cleanability…) Ensure compliance with standards (internal and international IEC/EN/UL) of our products Support Platform or technology teams & Product Care in relevant testing, validation, provide improvement proposals to Platforms or Technology development Design and develop test equipment Ensure proper maintenance of testing equipment according to ISO9001, ISO17025Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Qualifications, Knowledges: University Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Automation, Energetic, Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Master’s Degree is a plus). 7 to 10 years of previous experience as laboratory engineer in medium-large Companies or in analysis laboratories. Supervision at least at university level in one of the following fields: HVAC&R systems, Design of Experiment approach, Electrical engineering, Measurements acquisition and processing systems Fluent in English written and spoken Skills, capabilities, Competencies: Passion about testing and analyzing new products, components, system or physical phenomena Manual skills Accuracy Proactivity Problem solving Availability to Travel (10%)Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma or any equivalent in Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical engineering Problem solving skills.Our Offer to You:
