 WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:Required qualifications Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience4+ years of knowledge in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, Golang)4+ years of experience with developing and deploying distributed cloud systems and services in multi-cloud environments – AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.4+ years of experience in developing scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure software or distributed systems, and accountable for its successExperience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)  Preferred qualificationsExperience deploying Containers and scheduling frameworks (e.g.  Kubernetes, ECS)Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, or other CI tools.Demonstrable strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, application security, distributed systems, and experience supporting multi-tier web application architecturesEffective communication skills to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with various teamsAbility to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.Strong customer focus, ownership and accountability.Certification in any of the following: AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms. WHAT WE OFFER Base salary estimated range between $151,000 - $227,00.00 annually, depending on the hiring location.
