Responsibilities Apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems. Serve as a link between perceived social needs and commercial applications. Design products, machinery, implement improved ways to extract, process, and use raw materials, such as petroleum and natural gasDevelop new materials that both improve the performance of products and take advantage of advances in technology. Analyze the impact of the products they develop or the systems they design on the environment and on the people using them.Support testing, production, or maintenance by supervising production in factories, determining the causes of breakdowns, and the testing of manufactured products to maintain quality as neededEstimate the time and cost to complete projects. Qualifications Bachelors degree in engineering discipline or field of study. Experience: 7-10 years of providing engineering related support for the DoDMust be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.Experience in the below systems is desired
