Senior Engineer - Diagnostic Facades Engineer

The Sydney office is currently seeking a Senior Façade Engineer. As a part of the Technical Specialists group, this role will undertake consulting services within the façade diagnostics and existing buildings space and be a part of a diversely skilled local and global team of facade engineers working on a number of high profile and impactful projects.


The Opportunity

Working with minimal supervision in your area of responsibility, and you may be accountable for defined parts of design projects. Responsible for the client relationship relating to the project Responsible for the financial success of the project Responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of own and others work. Represent your team or area to clients and at internal meetings. 


Is this role right for you?

Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Structural, Mechanical, Materials, Façade, Civil, Architectural or similar area Experience leading remedial façade projects, and being a primary interface point for clients during delivery Relevant understanding of problems related to building structures, facades and construction materials is preferred An understanding of available improvement options (performance, durability, comfort) for building façades desirable Awareness of construction contracts, procurement and contract administration desirable A qualification and experience in Industrial Rope Access preferred but not essential, however a willingness to train in Industrial Rope Access is desirable
