a day in the life: what you’ll do
Build and extend web applications in a cloud environment. Work with Product and Project Owners to understand end-user requirements, formulate user stories and translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions. Craft and contribute to the development of JavaScript and HTML based web apps. Work closely with onsite and remote frontend, backend and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure and resilient. Plan, write, and test code to meet the requirements of tasks assigned, based on the technical specification. Ensure that customer-facing applications are designed to be highly available, observable, and durable via software engineering best practices. Support the development and implementation of a reference architecture used for new market expansion. Work closely with onshore/offshore teams and play a central role in ensuring code quality and engineering practices.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days/week.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in software development.
Of the required experience, must have at least 5 years of experience in each of the following:
· Delivering production ready implementations with the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) platform;
· Experience working with one of the following: Bootstrap, React, or NodeJS;
· Experience working with automated testing, source control (Git), continuous integration in addition to continuous delivery and deployment;
· Experience integrating web front-ends with complex multi-tier applications;
· Experience working in international domain with experience developing on single code base for multiple sites; and
· Experience leading and managing off-shore and/or 3rd party team resources.
Of the required experience, must have at least 3 years of experience with SFCC / Demandware in each of the following:
· Delivering production ready implementations;
· Developing, deploying, scaling, and maintaining SFCC based web apps;
· Search indexes, Promotions, Catalogs, and Site Preferences under merchant tools and admin tools;
· Developing one of the following: SFRA framework, Controllers, or ISML;
· Developing multi-site with localizing the storefronts using multiple locales/currencies and feature Flags/Toggles; and
· Developing one of the following: Customer profiles, Content Library, or Content Slots.

Your role is classified as Hybrid under our global SSC Workplace Policy.
In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.

compensation and benefits package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $190,486.00 – $210,486.00 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
