What you will do:
The Technical Lead Engineer - Innovation will be responsible for technically leading the designing and developing new or enhanced HVAC controls products. This role will be responsible for ensuring that technical and business objectives are met and will perform complex activities relating to the design, testing and evaluation of new and/or existing engineering products. This role will be lead, collaborative and creative associates that thrive in a team environment, creating solutions for challenging customer driven business needs.
Work on the inception phase of projects, including collecting requirements, suggesting methodologies and technologies, and release planning.Active researcher, keeping up with the latest trends in software development.Lead, influence and strengthen the development culture of the team.Lead, inspire, mentor, and encourage globally dispersed developers to apply industry's best practices.Design, implement, and support our mobile solutions and applications.
What you will bring:
8-10 years of mobile or web browser-based development experience.8-10 years of JavaScript and/or JavaScript using React framework.Web Development – CSS, HTML, XML/XSLT,Ability to effectively communicate with others both written and orally, with good interpersonal skills.Technically lead the development team.User Interface Design – User centered design, GUI & web page design, prototyping, usability testing.Experience working with cross functional teams as well as globally dispersed teams a plus.Good problem-solving skillsExperience building highly reliable applications, requiring minimal support and maintenance.Experience with RESTful API or GraphQLExperience with typescript or any other typed programming languagesKnowledge of JavaScript ecosystem tools, such as webpack, npm, etc.Experience using build and deployment tools (GitLab, Jenkins or AWS Build/Deploy/Amplify)
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $78,000 - $160,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
