In this role you will lead the strategic innovation of early technology readiness level ceramic materials for applications including thermal barrier, environmental barrier, solid oxide fuel cell/solid oxide electrolyzer cell, and other specialized ceramics for functionality related to their application requirementsYou will work on-site at the Indianapolis facility in synthesizing novel materials along with performing characterization of such materials and interpreting resultsFurther, you will support evaluation criteria through Linde’s technical gate system to determine project future states and create report-outs for upper managementTravel to key customer accounts with Business Development or Commercial colleagues to continually improve knowledge of current state of the art materials and material challenges from current and new customer baseYou will continually evaluate what processing techniques and synthesis capabilities are existing and what new methods may be needed to achieve novel material candidates
