Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Senior Engineer Operations in supply chain department. The Senior Engineer - Operations will be responsible for Manufacturing processes and driving operational excellence while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

 

Manage daily shopfloor activities, ensuring efficient operations and quality outputs. Drive team engagement, fostering a positive work culture through timely communication and recognition of good performance. Promote a zero-unsafe-condition culture across all teams. Enforce safe work practices and address identified safety risks with timely closures. Maintain and reinforce adherence to quality management systems, including ISO9001, IATF 16949, and ISO14001, across three value streams. Ensure adherence to core quality tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC. Work with Factory quality to drive zero-defect culture by addressing quality deviations effectively and performing root cause analysis. Participate in Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to prioritize lean initiatives. Lead the implementation and timely completion of Kaizen action plans with shopfloor associates. Promote a continuous improvement  & Zero defect mindset. Take responsibility for safety, Quality, Production during assigned shifts. Analyse all shift-based challenges effectively and timely reporting

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or related fields). 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations within industries such as Automotive, EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services), or Medical Device Manufacturing. Practical, results-driven experience in at least two of the following domains: Quality, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering. Proven experience in deploying core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) Hands-on experience in maintaining IATF 16949 quality standards Demonstrated results in driving Kaizen and continuous improvement activities on the shopfloor. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools such as VSM, 5 Whys, 8D, and other problem-solving techniques. Quality-first mindset with a passion for process improvements and zero-defect delivery.
