Position Summary:
Develops new or modified process formulations, defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, and evaluation of products. Involvement may begin at any step from Dev to full-scale manufacturing, with developing and deploying consumables manufacturing processes of both new and existing products within our production environments. Coordinates design requirement review with appropriate engineering/scientific personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods. Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications. Participate in consumable product development, manufacturing process development, process and product improvements, and other activities in the making of consumable products used in Illumina’s sequencing and Array technology.
Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs and other related duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise in polymer, or nanoparticle synthesis and characterization
Characterize polymer/nanoparticles using biophysical methods and tools
