Be part of a team that designs, develops and executes tests and test solutions for all products falling under the Engines and Power Systems umbrella. As a Senior Engineer Technician, you will play a significant role among a group of engineers and technicians in the development and certification of the next generation of gas turbine engines with ownership in the flow facility, compressor rig, core engine or turbine rig test facility. Our overarching mission is to ensure that our customers obtain the data they need the first time. We develop, own and maintain the facilities and test processes that enable the development, certification and long-term support of the entirety of the E&PS product families.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Key Responsibilities

\n\nMaintains and improves the assigned test facility in a way that ensures the cell is ready to execute tests for the current and future Honeywell product lines\nProvides constructive feedback on test plans and test approaches\nModels Safety, HOS, Behaviors and Continuous Improvement\nApplies knowledge of complex mechanical products test methods to learn engine, rig, facility systems and test equipment\nSupports team in establishing solutions to meet requirements for innovative test solutions for new and existing products\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE:

\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n2 years of directly related experience as a Turbine Engine or Aviation technician or 5 years of experience testing complex mechanical systems\nUS Citizenship or Permanent Residency due to export rules\nThe ability to work off-shift regularly (once sufficiently trained) – Shifts may change depending on the test under execution\n\n
