Summary: Hiring a Senior Engineering Manager/Director with expertise in EV Battery System R&D for permanent role.

Job Requirements:

B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields.

8+ years of automotive engineering experience.

2+ years of people & project management experience as an engineering manager.

Strong working knowledge and experience in xEV components, principles, operation, and vehicle electrification technology.

Proven track record of engineering projects related to testing or simulation of xEVs and their systems & components such as batteries, and/or charging systems.

Knowledge in vehicle or vehicle component test procedures.

Preferred Skills:

M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.

Experience with energy storage system and/or thermal management system development including test equipment, test processes, and system design processes.

Job Responsibilities:

Establish and build department's resources, capabilities, and a project portfolio for production vehicle and new technology development.

Understand and follow group's business model, strategic direction, purpose, mission; communicate these with direct reports.

Set up department's goals aligned with group's direction; drive execution, engagement to accomplish them.

Develop/manage department's plan/strategy/budget allocation & usage.

Provide technical guidance/support for EV battery system related concerns for both pre-production/post-production issues.

 

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
