The anticipated salary range for this role is between $166,000.00 and $205,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire. We have a great opportunity for an innovative and effective Engineering Manager. The Engineering Manager, Digital Customer Experience technology is responsible for setting technical direction while actively managing day-to-day software development. Part of the Digital Customer Experience technology group, this individual will contribute to the design and delivery of robust, scalable microservices in support of digital bank’s mission-critical infrastructure. **PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:** + Work collaboratively with Architecture, Product, and Engineering teams to develop and deliver products that are scalable and reliable. + Manage project priorities and product deliveries. Drive technical initiatives from execution toward delivery. + Ability to translate functional requirements to technical design and specs. + Communication includes excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences -technical, as well as business. + Ability to coach guide team members towards on skills needed for projects success.Experience in designing, developing, and engineering solutions that require integration with various cloud services. + Be hands-on in the architecture design and building team engineering best practices. Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint. + Mentor and manage a high-performance delivery team. + Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action + Lead effectively through outcomes rather than tasks. **POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:** + Bachelor’s degree in related field required, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience. + 9+ years of experience in Core Java/Kotlin, Object oriented programming, Spring boot, and scripting. + 2+ years’ experience of managing an Engineering team. Deep knowledge of engineering processes, underlying principles, and trade-offs. + 2+ years’ experience in developing and maintaining REST APIs, and Microservices. + Experience in cloud infrastructure - Azure/GCP/AWS + Knowledge of cloud-based API management solutions + Knowledge of container-based development and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) + Knowledge of cloud deployment processes, and experience working in a mature DevOps environment + Strong experience in NoSQL DBs (Cosmos Db, Mongo DB), RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle) + Strong understanding of Agile methodology and leveraging SDLC tools to improve development and testing efficiency. + Preferred Qualifications: + Banking/Financial Services experience is preferred. + Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Datawarehouse and other Data Management experience is a plus. **EOE STATEMENT** We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
