Senior Engineering Product Manager IS - Admin Tech Philanthropy - *Remote*

This is a remote role - We currently are unable to hire in the following states:  PA, NY, OH, CO, HI and MA.

The Senior Product Manager of Admin Tech Philanthropy combines user experience, business expectations, and technology to define and deliver products that delight the user base. The role provides simple elegant solutions to complex problems. This role works in a fast paced, evolving environment, with constant demands for better services. It requires strong problem resolution, decision making, communication, and partnering skills. This role acts as the primary relationship manager with business partners and stakeholders served by the product line, ensuring full engagement and communication, resolution of general issues and alignment of business and IT strategy for the product.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for driving strategic and tactical initiatives through strategic planning, business process management, program/project management, and change management. Define 12-month roadmap that includes product features that bring the product vision to life and is easily understood across organizational leaders, partners, and users. Demonstrated experience in developing systems to monitor risks and dependencies and report changes. Expertise in working effectively across disciplines and organizational boundaries to gain timely closure on decisions that impact own project/solution/portfolio. Ability to ask the right questions to resolve issues and applies creative solutions to meet project objectives. Define the blueprint of "what', 'when', and 'why' for product features. Develop a deep understanding of user base, define, and use personas to articulate and prioritize pain points and opportunities. Is curious about the underlying technology and architecture of the product and able to apply it in a meaningful way to impacts of business processes and/or solution design. Responsible for gathering, transforming, analyzing, and communicating data in such a manner that supports effective decision-making. This includes leading A/B testing, defining, and delivering on key performance indicators, and ensuring product-market fit. Lead and deliver programs comprised of several small to medium sized projects, or a large complex project. Leads with collaboration, manages key stakeholders, removes roadblocks, and drives overall quality project delivery. Anticipates risks and issues and takes preventative actions. Understanding of and ability to use SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall). Strong communication skills with the ability to describe technical solutions in customer language in a way that informs, persuades, and engages the audience, leveraging mutually defined criteria for success.

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or 12 years of equivalent work experience. 5 years of Product Management experience with mid to large size organizations building enterprise grade applications and experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree 5 years of SQL, Cloud, Visual Studio, Power BI, PowerPoint, ADO or other tools. Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role, providing direct support to end-users by addressing inquiries and resolving technical issues, similar to the responsibilities of a help desk technician. 7 years experience working in philanthropy. 7 years experience working with Blackbaud CRM, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge or an equivalent non-profit Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) application.
