Senior Engineering Technician

Our highly skilled of Engineering Technicians play a vital role in the design and manufacturing process of our cutting-edge telemetry products for the aerospace flight test and monitoring technologies market. Working within our state-of-the-art labs, you will perform complex operational tests and tasks on critical systems and equipment. **LOCATION:** Newtown, PA **BENEFITS:** **_We Take Care of Our People_** Paid Time Off **I** 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing **I** Health and Wellness Benefits **I** Learning and Development Opportunities **I** Referral Program **I** Competitive Pay **I** Recognition **I** Employee Stock Purchase Plan (https://curtisswright.com/investor-relations/overview/default.aspx) **I** Inclusive & Supportive Culture (https://careers.curtisswright.com/en/who-we-are/) * **YOUR CHALLENGE:** + Assisting Design/Test Engineers in the task of performing design verification testing, designing test fixtures/cables to aid during development testing. + Assisting Test Engineers in the task of creating acceptance test procedures and test boxes/test cables for introduction of new product into full production. + Support qualification testing in house and be asked to support qualification tests at outside labs. + Writing system level acceptance test procedures and qualification test plans. + Supporting production test resolving test issues. + Responsible for working on customer returns as required. **WHAT YOU BRING:** + Associate’s degree in electrical engineering/electrical technology preferred. + Minimum of 3 years as an Engineering Technician preferred. + Experience in testing and troubleshooting digital and analog circuit boards to the component level. + Demonstrated familiarity with lab test equipment (i.e., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters). + Experience or good understanding of network technology (i.e. Ethernet, IP) + Experience with working with a variety of interfaces, i.e. RS232/422, IEEE-1394b, Fibre Channel, PCM, Ethernet 100/1000BT + 10G. + Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work in a team environment with a diverse group of development engineers, test engineers, engineering technicians and manufacturing technicians. + Due to the nature of the work candidates must be a sole US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance. **WHO WE ARE:** Our Values (https://www.curtisswright.com/company/sustainability/core-values/default.aspx) Environmental, Social and Governance TTC, a Curtiss-Wright company, are a recognized leader in comprehensive and integrated data acquisition through telemetry systems that include data analysis units, sensors, transmitters, receivers, and ground station analysis tools to measure, record, transmit, and analyze aircraft and munitions parameters during test flights.
