About the Senior Enterprise Application Engineer - Integration Web Developer Role:

To support continued platform development and site migration, the DXP team is seeking an Integration Developer. This position will play a vital role in supporting the DXP solution by supporting the integration of delivered web sites with enterprise applications, data sources and middleware solutions. The integration developer will ensure that integrations support dynamic content delivery and that delivered data is structured for optimal presentation to site visitors.

Integration developers are responsible for the design, development and deployment of integrations between enterprise applications, as well as other web sites, cloud repositories and third-party applications. They support the development of account and identity integrations to ensure common access, and that information is consistently maintained and displayed across all applications and interfaces. They manage the integration of enterprise data and transaction information between enterprise applications and other third-party applications and web sites, both internal and external to Humber.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Design, develop, implement and support the implementation of integrations between enterprise applications and data sources, and Humber web site propertiesCreate interfaces and integrations to third-party solutions using API calls, database calls, iPaaS solutions, message queueing systems and standard integration protocolsDesign and develop solutions to migrate existing point-to-point integrations to modern and robust integration platformsConduct requirements gathering and effectively solicit input from functional subject matter expertsTranslate user requirements into technical recommendations and solutionsPrepare test plans, test cases and test data sets for functional testingWorking with subject matter expertise to assist with testing and validation of solutionsSupport problem analysis resolution for critical incidents daily support operations such as unexpected outages, integration failures, database recovery and data synchronization failures and supporting disaster recovery efforts

Experience/Skills

At least five years of hands-on experience in large, complex environments designing, building, operating, maintaining, and securing enterprise-class solutionsAt least three years of progressive hands-on experience in developing integrations for enterprise data applications and data sources to a web environment

Skills sought in a successful candidate include:

Deep expertise with integration tools such as MuleSoft, SalesForce Data Cloud, JitterBit and Microsoft Azure LogicAppsStrong expertise in standard integration protocols and APIs, including REST and SOAPStrong expertise with one or more of the following technologies:

o Java/J2EE

o SQL or Oracle PL/SQL

o Salesforce SOQL, SOSL, and SAQL

o JavaScript, Spring, Rest

o JMS/RabbitMQ or similar message queueing system

o CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps

o HTML5, Maven, Bitbucket or GIT

o AWS technologies
