Clinical Effectiveness (CE), a Division of Wolters Kluwer Health, is searching for a strong Salesforce developer to play an important role in our transition to a new consolidated suite of business systems across all of CE. Reporting to the Clinical Effectiveness Enterprise Software Engineering Associate Director, the Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and implementing upcoming CE Business Systems projects for our growing Salesforce organization. Responsibilities
Develop, test, and document custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of Salesforce-related projects using programming languages such as Apex, Visualforce, Java, JavaScript and related tools and frameworksWork in the Salesforce development environment to create custom objects, Flows, Apex Classes, Controllers, Triggers, Lightning Web Components and Visual Force pagesDesign and develop solutions that best utilize the Salesforce platform per business requirements, following Salesforce best practices and recommendationsParticipate in technical design sessions and develop technical solution documentation that align with business objectivesIdentify standard methodologies and development guidelines and then communicate and implement these practices to the rest of the teamParticipate in code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure the highest code quality and appropriate design standards are being utilizedParticipation in evaluation and roll out of application software packages as neededQualifications
Must have a strong development knowledge of Salesforce, including Salesforce Lightning Design, Salesforce objects, data model, Flows, Approval Process, reports and dashboards, SOQL, SOSL, and Data LoaderStrong experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Component, custom objects, Apex Classes and Triggers, Visualforce, Web services and other related technologiesSolid knowledge of Salesforce execution governors and limitsExperience with current security and web development programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and JQueryAbility to work within an agile team environment and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and supportCollaborate with team members on new feature technical design, technical requirements, limitations, and implementationAbility to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writingProfessional curiosity and interest in remaining current with innovations in applicable technologyCurrent Salesforce certification(s) strongly desired (E.G. Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales/Service CloudExperience implementing Service Cloud features such as Chatbot, Omni-Channel, Email-to-Case, KnowledgeSAP or NetSuite experience a plusEducation
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a technology-related field requiredExperience
5 years of Salesforce development with Lightning experience.5+ years of experience as an IT (CRM/ERP) application developer
