Job Description 

We’re seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Remediation Engineer with specific experiences in Project Management, design, installation, operation and maintenance of remediation systems for contaminated soil & groundwater.

Our teams work on complex remediation projects, pulling the right resources from across the company to support project needs. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects that will challenge you technically while giving you the opportunity to work with senior individuals with a variety of experiences. Together, these opportunities will help your growth in this industry.

 

The appointed person will be expected to have key role in the team, with the below responsibilities:

Managing and developing remediation proposals and projects covering all environmental aspects, associated regulation and staffing requirementsConducting remedial alternatives analysisOverseeing project budget and costs-benefit analysesCoordinating and appointing subcontractorsEnsuring all parties meet compliance with environmental regulationsTraining staff on how to use and implement remediation systemsBuild sustainable relationships in order to meet our business development goals.Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and team by evaluating project successes and challenges and sharing lessons learned to enhance performance within the business.Apply and encourage a high level of health and safety awareness and quality management at all times.Ensure effective communication with the project team and clients.

 

We are particularly looking for candidates with the following:

A Master’s degree in Engineering/Environmental Sciences.5+ years of related experience, with a multinational company is preferredFluency in Italian and EnglishTechnically skilled to perform process-orientated and sampling tasksDemonstrable ability to keep up to date with latest legislation and compliance requirementsFlexible approach and ability to change direction when requiredMotivated individual with the ability to work independently or as part of team, with the initiative to complete tasks.Excellent planning, organizational skills and be a time manager.Reasonable flexibility and willingness to travel nationally to conduct site visits.Open and honest.A background in Industry is advantageous, as an experience in the Consulting sector.Licensed to drive a vehicle in ITA (essential).
