The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer/Scientist based out of North Charleston, SC.
Come Join the Boeing Environmental Engineering team at Boeing South Carolina! This position will require a candidate with some knowledge and experience across multiple environmental media types but primarily Industrial Waste Water, air emissions, environmental data systems, permitting, and Superfund Amendments Reauthorization Act (SARA)/Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reporting.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads the development, implementation and administration of environmental management systems, processes and programs
Leads and develops compliance reviews of internal processes and practices
Acts as focal for environmental emergency response activities
Evaluates facility conditions and recommends alternatives
Leads interface with regulatory agencies
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's of Science degree or higher
5+ years of experience in areas of air quality, stormwater, hazardous waste, industrial wastewater, spill prevention, storage tanks, environmental sampling, data analysis, and environmental reporting
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience interpreting environmental regulations and applying knowledge to change environmental compliance and permitting policy
Aerospace industry experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $109,650 – $148,350
Export Control Requirements: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
