Our Environmental Services Group is currently looking for a Senior Environmental Geologist to join the ENERCON Team in our Oklahoma City, OK location.

Responsibilities Perform environmental fieldwork, including soil and groundwater investigations. Work assignments may be task-oriented to support the project objectives and may involve functional leadership responsibilities to direct field crews during data collection or remediationConduct and/or Manage Phase II Investigations: Develop scopes of work and cost estimates; manage subcontractors; perform all phases of subsurface soil and groundwater investigations; complete geologic and geophysical studies; manage waste; formulate independent conclusions regarding environmental conditions; develop technical reports in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulations; and, provide defensible recommendations and solutions that, at minimum, take potential impacts into account and meet client objectivesCommunicate with and manage work from clients, regulators, and other third-party groupsInternal (ENERCON) administration and trainingMaintain confidentiality related to property and client-sensitive information Qualifications Oklahoma Corporation Commission Licensed Remediation Consultant Bachelor's Degree in Geology or Environmental Science and minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental consultingGeneral subject matter expert on Oklahoma Corporation Commission Petroleum Storage Tank Division and Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality programsAbility to manage multiple projects/tasks concurrently with varying scopes of work and time constraintsExcellent oral and written communication skillsComputer skills including knowledge of MS Office SuiteDemonstrated problem solving, scientific evaluation skills, and understanding of field and laboratory analytical analysis and resultsMust be able to travel, including overnight and multi-day stays, throughout Oklahoma, as necessaryMust be able to stand/walk for long periods of time; work on unpaved surfaces, in outdoor environments, and in extreme weather conditions, including for multi-day field assignmentsMust be able to work productively with other staff, at all levels, in a team environmentMust possess a valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications / Skills 

Current 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is preferredProfessional Geoscientist (P.G.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license desired
