Job Title: Senior Environmental Scientist

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This individual will play a key role in developing and implementing solutions for environmental investigation and remediation projects. The successful candidate will work on PFAS projects, complex environmental investigations, and provide litigation support for projects involving PFAS and other contaminants.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement solutions for environmental investigation and remediation projects.Work on PFAS projects, including complex environmental investigations and litigation support.Conduct site investigations and assessments (Phase I, II, and III).Perform soil, water, and air sampling.Analyze data and write comprehensive reports.Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (CERCLA and RCRA).Oversee remedial and mitigation design, as well as construction projects.Conduct field investigations and drilling observation.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geochemistry, Geology, or Hydrogeology.3-6 years of relevant experience in site investigations, remedial and mitigation design, and construction oversight.Experience with Phase I, II, and III environmental site assessments.Understanding of state and federal regulations (CERCLA and RCRA).Strong report writing and data analysis skills.Proficiency in soil, water, and air sampling.Experience with field investigations and drilling observation.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of statistics and environmental data interpretation.Ability to work on complex projects and provide litigation support.Work Environment

Up to 50% of the work will be field-based, with the remaining 50% spent reporting to the Philadelphia office or working from home. Employees are offered a hybrid schedule, allowing for 2 WFH days each week. A stipend for WFH equipment is provided. The team values comradery and encourages ambitious individuals to grow into leadership roles. Direct reporting to the PM in Philadelphia while working primarily with the local team but also with a nationwide footprint.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $925000.00/yr.
