**About The Role:**
As a CBRE Senior Environmental Site Assessor, you will conduct on-site Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and/or Phase II subsurface investigations to identify recognized environmental conditions and other conditions of environmental concern for the project and related off-site properties in accordance with ASTM and client specific standards on complex assets and as an Environmental Professional that holds professional distinctions.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Complete complex Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and/or Phase II subsurface investigations to identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) and other conditions of environmental concerns as outlined in the scope of work and ASTM-1527.
+ Review previous assessment reports, historical and regulatory records for the property and for the surrounding area and reports data in accordance with ASTM criteria and client's scope of work.
+ Conduct interviews with property owners, occupants, key site personnel and local government officials to obtain information concerning the environmental conditions related to the property and adjacent properties.
+ Perform screenings for the presence of asbestos, lead-based paint, radon, lead in drinking water and subsurface contamination. Screenings may include collection of samples.
+ Write reports which convey the environmental assessment and provide exhibits and photos which illustrate or clarify information presented in the body of the report.
+ Coordinate municipal and private utility clearance, prior to Phase II activities, obtain site access and coordinate with drillers and laboratories.
+ Complete online and field research related to historic preservation, endangered species, wetlands, floodplains, etc.
+ Provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project. Provide formal technical guidance in area of expertise.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**What You'll Need:**

+ Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or a related field and 5 years of environmental related experience; or Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist with 3 years relevant experience; or 10 years of environmental related experienced and professional registration as listed below.
+ Knowledgeable of federal, state and local environmental requirements.
+ Preferred: Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist, CIH, CEM or 3 or more of the following state certifications ACM, LEAD, Mold, Radon (Note this is intended to be the actual state license to conduct sampling or consulting and not simply the AHERA or NRSB certification.)
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
+ Ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical clients.
+ Knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
+ Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
+ Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
+ Excellent time management and organizational skills. The position requires simultaneously managing electronic deliverables for several ongoing assignments.
+ Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Environmental Site Assessor position is $55,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Senior Environmental Site Assessor position is $62,400 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
