Responsibility and Tasks:

Evaluate and Improve Manufacturing Processes and Equipment

Maintain in-depth knowledge on equipment, process, and systemImprove process and/or equipment performancePerform containment for process and equipment deviationsDetermine root causeImplement corrective actionManage and coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance.Design equipment components (Improve equipment capability by exploring new ideas/concepts and implement on equipment).Identify & maintain spare partsSetup and buyoff for new equipmentPerform cost reduction projects.

Evaluate Future Process and Equipment

Collaborate with supplier on the design of new equipment/tooling’sEvaluate pertinent technology and engineering advancements relating to equipment and processesBuild and maintain effective relationships with suppliersEvaluate new tooling material for cost saving effort

Coordinate Training Requirements and Conduct Training

Develop, or coordinate development of training materialsCoordinate and conduct technical training.Train and mentor others

Requirements:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering is preferred.Min 10 years’ experience in HVM environment specifically on SMT, Semiconductor and electronics. (exclude for NCG program).Module/SSD manufacturing process and technologies experience is preferred.Familiar with SPC, root cause analysis techniques, FMEA, QC tools, KTDAExperience in 3D CAD softwareKnowledge on Windows, network, database & pc, hardware is preferredExperience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting skill is preferred suck as Cognex scanner, EPSON Robot 6 axis and 4-axis, ABB robotics , nultek conveyor , AOI inspection , Xray will be advantage.
