Who You Are:
You have a mastery in global equity-based compensation while also exceling in gathering and analyzing data to manage an equity program. You are resourceful and enjoy collaboration across multiple teams.
The Impact You Will Have:
As a Senior Equity Compensation Administrator, you will lead and optimize equity plan processes for our global workforce. You will manage the day-to-day operations of all equity plans including equity systems, grant distributions, transactions, reporting, and compliance while collaborating with People, Finance, Accounting, and Legal teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Your expertise will shape the evolution of our equity programs and educate employees on our philosophy and offerings.
What You Will Do:
Establish and oversee effective and efficient processes for equity plan administration, including quarterly and annual equity grant cycles, approvals, distributions, terminations, transactions, reconciliations, equity system and vendor management, and comprehensive reporting and analysis.Collaborate with the Finance team to manage equity budgeting and forecasting, and support monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation processes for equity transactions for all plansCollaborate with Payroll and Benefits team to process all stock vesting events, sales, and redemptionsPrepare periodic summaries of available sharesRespond to employee’s inquiries regarding their stock awards and manage the equity team’s mailboxAssess and recommend updates to equity compensation design, leading the execution of proposed changes and overseeing all associated change management initiativesPartner with Accounting, Tax, and Legal teams to ensure compliance with all necessary reporting requirements as well as internal auditsContribute to the development, rollout, and implementation of future equity programs, aligning them with organizational goals and employee needsDesign and deliver branded equity education initiatives for current and prospective employees, ensuring clear communication and understanding of the programsServe as the primary point of contact for all equity-related matters, providing support to employees and maintaining the relationship with the equity system vendorContinuously seek opportunities to implement best practices in equity administration, ensuring that programs scale effectively and adapt to our growthWhat You Will Need to be Successful:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business related field5+ years in a stock compensation administration role with a global companyExpertise in equity administration platforms (e.g., Shareworks, E*Trade), HR systems (Workday), and advanced Excel/Google SheetsKnowledge of various types of equity awards and programs, public and privateStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and project management ability to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely executionExcellent communication skills to educate and engage employees while maintaining confidentiality and integrity in managing sensitive dataExperience in high-growth, fast-paced environments, particularly in technology or engineering sectorsIt Would be Great to Have:
Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certificationExperience implementing relevant systems and processes to serve a fast-growing start-up environment2+ years of experience building reporting and education capabilities within the functionThe Perks (and these are just a few!):
