Overview We are seeking a full-time Senior ERP Application Analyst in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting detailed requirements for business projects and determining moderately complex solution designs. Essential Functions Evaluates new technologies for improving existing functions and offers suggestions for design options to execute improvements Configures, tests, implements and supports Oracle eBusiness Suite applications as well as other business applications Demonstrates advanced understanding and execution of the software development lifecycle Demonstrates mastery of troubleshooting and research tools (i.e. myOracleSupport, e-TRM, Implementation Guides, etc.) to complete complex troubleshooting Identifies interdependencies in programs and comprehensive test scenarios Offers suggestions to improve processes and design options for executing those improvements as well as evaluates new technologies for improving existing functions and new business needs Understands business impacts of issues as they relate to IT owned solutions Provides reliable solutions to a wide range of business needs and challenges Assists with data migration and related data quality activities Demonstrates experience with project work and change management in demanding and dynamic environments, with tight deadlines Effectively prioritizes workload to meet deadlines and work objectives Supports application maintenance activities including patching and versioning updates Participates in incident management and corrective actions Collaborates directly with co-located and remote team members and business clients Plans small/medium sized projects or tasks and makes substantial contributions to determining feasibility of goals/objectives Serves as a mentor to less experienced Application Analysts (Application Analyst 1 & 2) Participates in project definition activities including feature analysis and system tradeoffs Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or related field AND a minimum of 5 years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule) Demonstrates mastery of project management principles and adapts practices to meet rapidly changing business climates and needs Demonstrates strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrates experience in successful implementation of technology solutions Experience with one or more of the following module suites: Financials (GL, AP, AR), Discrete Manufacturing (INV, BOM, WIP, Cost, PO), Supply Chain (Order Management, Shipping, WMS), Advanced Planning (ASCP, DP, MRP), CRM (Depot Repair, Install Base, Service Contracts), Human Resources Experience testing custom applications and Oracle patches Experience with PL/SQL(Programming Language/Structured Query Language) Experience with Oracle application tools (e.g. Workflow, etc.) Experience with Oracle Demantra, Oracle AgilePLM, BluJay Parcel, E2Open Trade Automation applications Demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization Desired Qualifications Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5) Experience operating within the Agile project management philosophy, specifically scrum methodology Experience working with internationally distributed teams and customers to deliver global solutions Experience with compliance and privacy topics Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
