Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Estimator with extensive experience in commercial construction estimation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for calculating the costs of construction projects, including time, materials, labor, and equipment required for commercial jobs.
ResponsibilitiesCalculate costs of construction projects, including time, materials, labor, and equipment.Prepare detailed estimates and bid proposals.Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.Review and adjust estimates based on project changes and updates.Assist in the preparation and submission of change orders.Essential Skills10 years of commercial estimation experience.Proficiency in wood and metal framing, carpentry, and drywall.Bachelor's degree in construction management.Strong knowledge of estimation software.Experience with bidding and blueprint analysis.Familiarity with design-build projects and construction management.Ability to perform draws up and determine overall costs of new or existing construction projects.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with QuickBid or similar estimation software.Previous experience with commercial construction projects.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
Potential to negotiate for a company vehicle
$600/month reimbursement for travel.
