Senior Meeting Planner manages conference, events and meetings for customers globally; suggests, plans and creates itineraries using creativity and cost saving options to meet customers’ requirements as well as maximizes revenues.

This is a hybrid role; you would work three days a week from home and twice a week from our office in Budapest.

What You'll Be Doing:

Handling meetings ranging from 10 people to several thousands in Hungary and abroadManaging multiple meetings simultaneouslyPlanning the logistics of the meeting – from meeting room set up to coordinating breakoutsManaging rooming lists and arrival/departure listsUnderstanding Attrition Guidelines and Cancellation Penalties – as they pertain to a hotel contractManaging Congress registrationsHandling all types of programs – with varying degrees of importanceHaving a good handle of estimates profit for each meeting – consistently updating the numbersCreating customer invoices Meeting all deliverables externally as well as internallyAdhering to all internal policies as well as compliance issuesBeing able to pick up and work with all interactive tools , used by Corporate Meeting Solutions

What We're Looking For:

At least 3 years of event experienceAdvanced PC skills – Word, PowerPoint, ExcelExcellent communication skills verbally and in writingFluent Hungarian and EnglishStrong sales and negotiation skillsExcellent organizational skills and an eye for detailSelf motivation, ability to work alone to a very high standardGood orientation in multinational key accounts and their requirementsGood command of issues related to project management and professional experience in purchasing services connected to events’ organization and various event types at all stages
